dc.description.abstract |
A singie phase inverter is designed and constructed to provide regulated output
voltage at 220V. The output power stage is designed using two power
iransistors coupled to the load ihrough a transformer. The output is a 50 Hz
square wave which is obtained by push-pull operation of the two transistors
using 50 Hz complementary trigger pulse stream. Feedback control is used for
constant output voltage with load variation. A theoretical analysis of the inverter
is presented.
The circuit is tested and it is found that the waveforms obtained at different
stages of the circuit conform well with those obtained by computer simulation.
The circuit is found to be efficient and economical for applications in appliances
during power failures. |
