Basically, most of the furniture industries in Bangladesh arc-followed the traditional methods of
manufacturing processes. We are trying to proof mathematically that there is a big scope to
improve furniture industrie.~llSinga mathematical model which will help 10analysis the pmlC'l'lt
situation of the industry and forecast for the future and to makc production schedule properly. If
roodcrn technology is applied to the existing furniture industries and proper attention is taken in
both the manufacturing of furniture and its products and making positive exporting policy to
other countries, huge amount offoreign currency may possible be carned from this sector.
