In Bangladesh with the introduction of wireless networks the face of telecommunication has changed, but there are still new challenges to be mel. The largest operator Gnuneen Phone played the most important role to inject funds as one of the largest tc1ccommunication inlrastruclure project in Bangladesh. Last five years market growth h~s been experienced around 50% 10 250%, however a large oplion in market still to be continued more couple of years. So 10 grab lhis market with a 62% market share Grameen Phone has to meet a lot of challenges including a hard competition with aggressive competitors. 1lJis study focuses 011the proposal of a business plan lor Grameen Phone as a market leader through SWOT analysis which is an extremely useful tool developing SO, ST, \VO and WT slrategies for understanding and decision-making tor all sorts of situations in business and organizations.
