The polj'cryslal!ine fen-iles (Nio42_,CUxl.:no,;il(Fe204wlith x = O. 0.05, 0.10, 0.15,0.20
were prepared by conventional ceramic technique sintered at 1075°C to 1300°C.
Microstructural properties of the ferrites were done by X-ray diffraclion and oplical
microscope, Magnetic properties have been performed by \iSM and impedance analyzer.
Resistivity measurements have camed out by two terminal method.
The single-phase spinel structures of the samples ha\'e been confirmed by X-ray
diffraction. Curic temperature, T, of the samples deerease~ as the Cu content increases.
The density and initial pelmeability increases with increasing Cu content as well as
sinlering temperature. Grain si/-e increases both with Cu eontenl and with simering
temperature. When the Cu contenl x:,:O.15,the permeability value decreases substantially
when sintered at higher sinlCring temperature. Saturation magnetization decreases with
increasing of eu content. Resistivity decreases with inere~,mg Cu content and sintcring
temperature, Copper plays un imporlant role in lowering the sintering temperature as well
as improving the soft magnetic properlies. |
