dc.description.abstract Effcctlve deClslOns are at the heart of ,uccess, and at timcs there are critical moments when they can bc difficult, perplexing, and ncrve racking, So a realistic decIsion making is the key to success [or a business organization, Inherent comp1cxity and uncertainty in a busine5s enviromnent necessitates the participation of many experts in the decision-making process. The use of linguistic labels makcs expert judgment more reliable and infonnative for decision-making but makes the aggregation or linguistic labels comphcated, especially when considering multi expert multi critelia situation. To address the uncertainty during decision making Alpha-cut which is a fuzzy algehra has been used to get a crisp ra.nge from a fllZZYrange. To enlighten the effects of unccrtainty in expert knowledge, objective of this researeh was to perform a scnslliv;ty analysis by using thc ra.nge oftrulh-value using alpha-cut and see how the decision is alTccted. It is performed by incorporating lhe scope or modeling human aspects (hy introducing optimism index (I,)) like "Fair", "Benefit or doubt", "Conservative" by choo"ing appropriate truth value rrom the above crisp range, obsen'e v,'hal significant difference each of the choices make, and how thc variatIOn affects the final decision. To integrate the opportunity of taking multicxpert opinion and the conflict aggregation, possibility measure and averaging method ha\'e been used. Las(]y a declsion Slipport system has been developed based on the proposed algorithm, A case sl\ldy has becn presented here by using this decision support system lo compare both oJ the conflict aggregation measure possibility meaSUTe& averagmg as well as sensitivity analysis has been performed to see how the decision is arfceted. en_US
