dc.description.abstract Web based education (WBE) has got much popularity, because with the help of web, teaching and Icarning can be freed from the boundaries of classroom and the class schedules. In this project a web based education module for verilog HOL has been developed. Veri log HOL is emerged as the most efficient solution for designing complex vLSI chip. It is IEEE accepted, industry standard and technology independent VLSI design tool. The developed web based education module offers many features for easy learning of Veri log HOL. It contains an effective source of Veri log HOL extracting from a number of books. The information is provided in such a way that it encompasses verilog HOL learners of different depth of knowledge in vLSI design. It is able to guide a learner from simple to complex vLSI design. An approach of "Learn by Example" has been adapted in the web module. While browsing the web, the learner can open a lot of design examples of Veri log HOL. Simulation results of the design are also provided which makes it different than that of others. It also provides some other features such as publications/papers. tools information, tutorial sites related to Veri log IIDL that makes the WBI: module interesting and uscCul. Moreover all the WBE has been made a comfortable and interesting environment of learning Veri log IIDL by sclecting suitable background color and font of eaeh page of WBE. en_US
