dc.description.abstract In Intensive Care Unit (ICU), the physiological information such as pulse rate, oxyzen saturation, ECG and temperature are constantly monitored and proper treatment is provided according to these information. This thesis paper is introducing a design of a Real-Time Data Acquisition System for monitoring patients in ICU (Intensive Care Unit). The Proposed design is implemented by using Microcntroller and PC with low cost hardware and data acquisition card. In this work, all information of a patient has been shown within a single screen. If all information is available in the same time so easily, then it is easy to take decision about the patient. For displaying the conditions of a member of patients a suitable network solution has been developed. Also measures has been taken for displaying the conditions of the ICU patients to the visitors of the patients outside ICU room. en_US
