The rapid digital transformation in education has increased the demand for online test- ing platforms. However, many existing platforms lack content alignment with educa- tional materials, interactivity, and adaptability, posing challenges for both students and educators.
Recognizing the significance of integrating ICT into education, NCTB mandates ICT as a compulsory subject. Current resources often fall short in providing comprehensive and interactive ICT content. This project addresses these challenges by developing a user-friendly online testing platform tailored to HSC-level ICT students.
This project offers personalized multiple-choice questions (MCQs), adapts question dif- ficulty, and provides instant feedback. It aligns with the evolving educational landscape, leveraging technology to empower students and educators in the digital age.The project aims to create a web application supporting HSC-level ICT students and teachers in Bangladesh, featuring a question bank with over 3,700 MCQs and detailed explana- tions for better comprehension. My contribution lies in creating an adaptive system that enhance coaching dependency, and improve MCQ quality based on user feedback. Our adaptive system adjusts question difficulty based on user feedback and utilizes past records for personalized practice. This platform fosters self-study, reduces reliance on private coaching, aids teachers in question paper preparation, and continually improves through user feedback, enhancing ICT education.
The project is deployed at the website named “learnict.info” which provides a com- prehensive MCQ bank and online mock tests, benefiting higher secondary students, university entrance exam candidates, and job seekers. Users can access MCQs by chap- ter or specific topics, while the mock test feature allows both guests and registered users to simulate exams. The website also offers tutorials, guides, and interactive materials for improving ICT skills, promising a positive user experience. |
