dc.description.abstract |
Emissions from road transport vehicles in Bangladesh have been modelled here.
Systems dynamics approach is considered to simulate the developed model. In order
i to achieve this, causal relationships are established amongst the varioUs interacting
variables and are put into causal loops. Dynamics feedback loops are constructed
from this causal loop diagrams and corresponding equations are developed for
Professional DYNAMO Plus systems simulation software. Models thus developed
are run with the data collected from national and international sources. Results
obtained from these models give us a clearer picture of the future ermissions from
road vehicles in Bangladesh. Sensitivity analyses are carried out on the major
variables like number of vehicles, fuel consumption etc. |
